RV Technician to compete in NHRA time trials

Melbourne, Florida---Giant Recreation World's RV Technician, Santo Volpe, will compete in NHRA's Lucas Oil Nationals August 12-15, 2010 in Brainerd, Minnesota. Santo will be competing in Competition Eliminator driving a fuel injected 1932 Bantam roadster. The two car team is owned by Al Ackerman and David Ring of 1320 Racing from Saddlebrook, New Jersey.
Volpe, who is from Cocoa, Florida began racing in 1982. He is an accomplished racer with more than 100 final round appearances and a winning ratio of 70% in various cars and classes. Qualifying and time trials begin at 4:00 pm Thursday, August 12, 2010.
